Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
5 cups fresh sliced peaches
1/2 cup sugarInstructions:
Melt the butter in 2-quart Pyrex dish. Stir together flour, 1 cup sugar and milk and pour into melted butter, stir gently.
Heat peaches and the 1/2 cup sugar and pour on top of batter, do not stir.
Bake at 375* for 40 minutes. Serve warm with cool whip or vanilla ice cream.
