Caramel Crispix with nuts

1/2 Cup butter

3/4 Cup white corn syrup

1 Cup brown sugar

1 - 12 oz. box Crispix cereal

1 Cup pecan pieces

1 Cup almonds or walnuts


Spray a large roasting pan with cooking spray.

In medium size microwave-safe bowl put the butter, syrup and brown sugar. Heat in microwave until butter and brown sugar is melted.Then pour over nuts and crispix cereal in a large Tupperware bowl with seal. Seal bowl and shake gently until Crispix and nuts are coated.

Pour out in the large roasting pan and bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour( stir every 15 minutes)

Cool and continue to stir until cool. Store in zip lock bag.
