Fried Peach Pies

2 1/2 cup self-rising flour

1/2 cup Crisco

2/3 cup carnation evaporated milk


With pastry blender or fork, mix Crisco with flour. Then stir in carnation milk. Divide into enough for individual pies and roll out on floured board.I make mine in 6" circles. Put prepared Mock Dried Peaches on one side.Leave a small space around edge of crust for an egg wash or use water. Fold over and press edges with fork to seal. Fry in iron skillet or griddle on med heat in oil until brown, Turn over and brown other side.If you are going to fry more you need to clean skillet after each skillet full.When you take them out of skillet you can sprinkle sugar on them while hot if you like.
